Passion Project Reflections

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.   This describes how I felt when I first started the passion projects this year. I started off wanting to do my passion project on anything sports related. For example, basketball, baseball, soccer, or anything else. Obviously, that was a boring and uninteresting topic. So, when I started surfing the internet, I saw an article and someone who had killed multiple students. I thought at that very moment my topic should be on violence. 

               I started off researching what violence is. But I only could put a slide of information on what it actually is and its definition. I had to explain how violence is caused and why it is such an important part of our world and a issue that we need to fix. 

               I would say that my progress, on a scale from one to ten, is at about a 7. Considering how I started off my passion project and how I made very little progress, I would say this an improvement. I have achieved being able to describe what violence is and a great example of someone who was affected and resorted to violence. I have faced obstacles. Violence is a very deep subject and very complicated. Many big words that I may not know are used in articles to explain violence. This was a challenge for me to understand the topic to the best of my ability.   

               I plan to overcome this obstacle. I am moving very quickly in understanding the words and definitions. I also plan to get an interview with a psychologist. I am very happy in my topic and I'm very exccited about presenting this topic to my classmates. AT first I was bored and now I am :).
